Just Be Yoga & Wellness is a continuation of the work that Cindy Agro started in 2012, when she opened the doors of Ganga Flow.  Studio owner, Melissa Andersen, is committed to offering you classes, workshops, and events that will allow you to "just be" wherever you are in your life and on your journey and exploration of yoga and wellness. Whether you are coming to your mat for the first time, have practiced for 10 years, are growing life within you, or are introducing yoga to your little one, there is a place for you.  

 

As important as our mat practice is, so are the connections we make with the people around us. This is why, in addition to our weekly classes, there are several events and workshops held throughout the year to help create and foster a supportive community of people.

Kids' Yoga Series (ages 6-9) w/ Melissa

Let your kids join Melissa in this 6 week series as they learn the basics of yoga & mindfulness and how to use both in their every day lives. Yoga and mindfulness in children help to improve self regulation and promote physical as well as mental health.

Monday Dec. 12th- Jan. 30th.

Prenatal Series w/ Michelle Marinaccio

In this 6 week series, Michelle will guide you through a yoga practice that will help to keep your body strong and healthy throughout your pregnancy. Connect with other mamas to be during this incredibly special and important time in your lives.

Donation Yoga for Desmond's Law

In honor of what would have been Betty White's 100th birthday, Shabon is offering a donation based yin/restorative class to raise money fo Desmond's Army. Desmond's Army Animal Law Advocates is an organization made of volunteers who work to protect the rights of animals. They make sure they are present at every animal abuse court case in CT, offering a "voice for the voiceless". 100% of the proceeds from this class will go to Desmond's Army.

Donation Based Yoga for Recovery

just be & Women's Wellness are teaming up to offer monthly donation based yoga classes for people dealing with addiction. These classes are open to everyone and will alternate locations between jb & ww every month.

Healing the Heart Chakra w/ Melissa & Noël DeGray

Join Melissa and Noël Degray, in this yoga/essential oil practice. Focussing on our heart chakra, we'll discuss what causes it to be blocked and how we can use yoga and essential oils to help open it. We'll then continue with a yoga practice dedicated to the heart chakra. To conclude the class, Noël will guide you through the steps of making your own essential oil roller to take home.
